Embark on a 4-day trekking adventure from Lijiang to the Meili Snow Mountain. Visit the Moon Bay of Jinsha River, the Feilai Temple, the Yubeng Village, the Laughing Farm Base Camp, the Ice Lake, the God Waterfall, and the Ninong Canyon.
Day 1: Lijiang - Haba Snow Mountain Viewing Platform - Moon Bay - Feilai Temple Depart from Lijiang and head to the Haba Snow Mountain Viewing Platform. Rest at the Yi village observation platform with a view of Haba Snow Mountain and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Continue to Shangri-La County, where you will have lunch in Benzilan by the Jinsha River. After visiting the Moon Bay, go over the mountain pass at 4292 meters. From here, enjoy the beautiful view. Then go through Deqin County to the Feilai Temple, and finally to the Meili Snow Mountain.
Day 2: Feilai Temple - Nirong - Yubeng Village Wake up at 6:00 AM to see the sunrise over the Golden Mountain at Feilai Temple Observation Hotel. It's the best place to see the Meili Snow Mountain, the first of the eight sacred mountains. It's one of the world's most beautiful snow-covered mountains. After seeing the Sunshine Gold Mountain, drive across the Lancang River Bridge for 2 hours. Take the car to Ninong, then hike to Yubeng village. Today's journey is 14 km. It will take 4-5 hours. Hike along the Ninong Grand Canyon, with cliffs on both sides. This sunny route leads to the secret world of Yubeng, carved out of the cliffs by the ancients. Hike for 3.5 hours to the supply point, then along the road to Yubeng. The scenery is stunning. Arrive in Yubeng village and check in.
Day 3: Yubeng village- God Waterfall - Yubeng village After breakfast, go to the waterfall on the south side of Meili Snow Mountain. There are overhanging rocks and the waterfall is called the 'Avalanche Divine Waterfall'. Tibetans bathe under it as a kind of spiritual practice. After hiking to 14:00, start back at dusk to Yubeng village.
Day 4: Yubeng Village - Ninong Canyon - Shangri-La - Lijiang Wake up at 7:30 AM, take a photo with the mountains, then hike out of Yubeng village. After about 5 hours, take a bus to Shangri-La and return to Lijiang to be transferred to the hotel.
